School-wide Goals

The school site council (principal, staff, and parents) and teachers work collaboratively on school-wide goals each year to help keep our instructional practices and parent support focused on the needs of our students so that they can be at their best and thrive.

  1. Students will develop, monitor, and reflect on goals with the support of parents and teachers in order to encourage student responsibility and executive functioning skills. The goals should promote a growth mindset and hold students accountable for their learning.

  2. All GB students will engage in a literacy program across all curricular areas that are personalized, balanced, and challenging.

  3. All GB students will advance towards grade-level math standards and achieve their highest potential using conceptual, computational, and critical thinking skills.

  4. Gardner Bullis staff, parents, and students will participate jointly in community and learning events in order to support a positive school culture that teaches, models, and reinforces appropriate social-emotional behaviors.
