Dear Gardner Bullis Families,

As you’ve now heard, Principal Oskolkoff has accepted a position in another school district and will not return to Gardner Bullis next year. We will all miss Principal Oskolkoff and her amazing, compassionate leadership at Gardner Bullis, but are thrilled she is modeling the continuous growth and learning we wish to impart in all of our students by taking on a new professional role.

My administrative team and I are already beginning a formal process to seek a new Gardner Bullis principal to take the helm on July 1, 2022.  We will invite all staff and parents to share the leadership qualities they desire in a new principal.  We will also meet with school site staff to gather essential feedback as we prepare to interview prospective candidates.

We will host a Parent Input Meeting on Wednesday, March 30 from 7:00-8:00pm via Google Meet.  We encourage you to attend, as your voices are essential to selecting an excellent candidate who is the best fit for the Gardner Bullis community.

Using the Gardner Bullis community feedback, we will review potential candidate resumes to begin a hiring process. This process will include Gardner Bullis parents, teachers, school staff and administrators in the first round of interviews.  Next, the district leadership team, which includes school site and district office administrators, will meet with successful candidates from the first round. I will conduct the third and final interview.

I will work with the Gardner Bullis community to ensure the leadership transition is smooth and successful.  I am confident we will find an excellent principal to lead Gardner Bullis and drive an educational program that is focused on each student’s achievement.
