Talent Show!

Gardner Bullis Talent Show is on Thursday, May 31 at 5:30pm.

Mandatory rehearsal times:

Monday, May 21 at 3:00 for Grades 3, 4 , 5, 6

Tuesday, May 22 at 2:40 for Grades K, 1, 2

Pertussis Booster for Students in 6th grade:

Students currently in 6th grade must have proof of a Tdap or Dtap (Pertussis or Whooping Cough) booster given after their 7th birthday (after 10th birthday is recommended) in order to begin 7th grade in August of 2018. Please provide a copy of your child’s immunization record to your school office as soon as possible!

Junior Olympics is Coming!  The Jr. Olympics committee needs YOUR help!

First. for all 4th-6th grade parents:  Please fill out the permission slip on this page (fill out even if your child is NOT participating so we can plan ahead for the appropriate number of children:

Finally, for all Gardner Bullis parents:  We want you to know that though participation is limited to 4th-6th graders, all students and their families are invited and encouraged to come to Junior Olympics to watch the events and cheer on their school teams!  So please mark the date, April 28th, on your calendars!

4^th Grade Instrument Quest

May 29th and May 30th

5:00 – 7:00 pm at Covington Multi

In preparation for choosing a musical instrument to play in 5th grade, the LASD Music Department will be hosting two nights of “Instrument Quest.” Your child will see and be able to try out every instrument we offer in our Band (flute, clarinet, trumpet, trombone) and Orchestra (violin, viola, cello) programs.

This is a great opportunity to see which instrument best suits your child. Parents are welcome to ask questions and to meet the LASD Music teachers.

Come on either evening between the hours of 5pm-7pm.  4th grade students will be making instrument selections in their homeroom classes at the end of May.

After School Lego

LEGO - Intro to STEM: Classes start on Thursdays starting on 4/19 and ending on 5/31, open to Grades K-3. The timing would be from 1:45pm to 3:15pm (pre-care available) and the fee will be $147 for 7 sessions.

Skateboarding After School at Gardner Bullis

The class will focus on skateboarding basics, like balance, safety, technique, and etiquette. We will have street and transition type obstacles appropriate for all levels of skaters. Skateboard, helmet, knee, elbow and wrist protection required & provided if needed.

For 1st-5th graders.

$180/ 6 classes

Lost & Found Items

On Tuesday, 24 April, we will be hanging up all of the items from the Lost & Found on the fence by the curb. Please retrieve any of your students’ property before they are donated to Goodwill.  The items will put away at 3:30 after pickup.
