Students in 3rd through 6th grade will have an interactive presentation about online safety and security and how it is a growing concern for schools and parents. Students lead digital lives and it’s important that they have the knowledge and skills to make good decisions that help keep them safe and secure. The National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA), a national non-profit dedicated to education and awareness, is bringing its Cyber Security Awareness Volunteer Education (C-SAVE) program to our school. On Monday, February 14, volunteers from the technology industry will talk to our 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grade students about some of ways they can be safer online and how to make good decisions when it comes to sharing personal information, interacting with others and navigating the internet.
