MEASURE GG - PARCEL TAX RENEWAL

The LASD Board of Trustees placed Measure GG, a $223 parcel tax renewal measure, on the November 2016 ballot. Measure GG renews expiring funding to preserve current levels for LASD and supports all local public school students, including those attending Bullis Charter School.  To learn more please visithttp://www.losaltos.k12.ca.us/District/8748-Measure-GG.html

The Keys to Academic Success

Hosted by Blake Kiernan

Date: October 11, 2016

Time 7:00-8:00pm

Admission: FREE

Location: Hillview Community Center

Description: During this hour-long workshop, I will be sharing the Empowered Learning Techniques (ELTs) that I’ve developed over the past three years. ELTs are self-guided exercises that  enable students to academic success in four areas:

  • managing time
  • enhancing study skills
  • getting organized
  • setting and achieving goals.

I focus on long-term success. My techniques are designed to foster independence, bolster confidence, and transform students who retreat into “I don’t know” reactions into those who say, “I’m gonna figure this out!”
