Save the Elephants!

In town for Thanksgiving?  On Wednesday, 11/23, from about 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, 5th graders will be raising money for Tusk, a nonprofit that works to save African wildlife. Come by Main Street in front of the former Miyo store for a free cookie and to learn more about Tusk and its efforts to save the endangered elephants!
 

Los Altos Festival of Lights Parade

Since 1977, the Festival of Lights Parade has lit up downtown Los Altos to kick off the holiday season. With a theme of “A Child’s Holiday Fantasy,” the parade features approximately twenty-five illuminated floats, twinkling walking storybook characters, the mayors of Los Altos and Los Altos Hills, and local high school marching bands.
 

Holiday Barn Lighting

Join the Los Altos Hills community for a special holiday celebration. Spend the afternoon in the fresh air at Westwind Community Barn, sampling cookies and hot cider and/or wine tasting while kids participate in seasonal games, craft tables, face painting, pony rides and a petting zoo. Make this holiday season memorable and bring the whole family for a day in the Hills that they will not forget!
