Tick-tock…three weeks and $59,325 to go!

In these final weeks of the 2016-17 school year, we are counting on 40 more LASD families to donate, fulfill their pledges, or submit a corporate match. We are so close to meeting LAEF's $3.7M fundraising goal, but we still have $59,325 to go. Every dollar makes a big difference! Coding & Music…a perfect combination

We hope you enjoyed the classical, folk songs, popular music, and film favorites coming from our 4th, 5th and 6th grade LASD Spring Music Concerts in addition to being wowed by the projects created by our 6th grade CSTEM students from all seven elementary schools at the CSTEM Expo. Special thanks to our 2,205 donors so far this school year who have made these enriching educational experiences possible!

Don’t’ miss the CSTEM Showcase – May 23rd

LAEF is proud to sponsor the Los Altos School District CSTEM Showcase on Tuesday, May 23rd from 3:30 to 5:00 pm in the Blach School Multi. Bring your family to play games and explore projects created from all seven elementary schools. As a result of their exposure to computer science, 6th-grade students are ready to integrate coding in other academic areas and to take the new CS Elective in Jr. High, as a key component to expanding the CSTEM program to TK-8.
