Hello! I am Tessa Chen, one of the fifth grade teachers at Gardner Bullis. I was born and raised in Palo Alto. I received my B.A. in Sociology at UCLA and earned my teaching credential at Notre Dame de Namur University. I have been teaching in LASD since 2006.

I enjoy reading, baking, visiting the beach, and hiking/biking/exploring with my family. On the weekend you will find me cheering on my boys at their football or baseball games. We are also huge 49ers and Giants fans.
