My mom has always been my idol, so it is no wonder that I followed her path and chose a career in education. I was born and raised in Palo Alto, received my B.A. at UCLA, and earned my teaching credential at Notre Dame de Namur University. I have been a teacher in LASD since 2006 and have had the privilege of being on the staff at Loyola and now, Gardner Bullis. I love working with upper elementary students due to their thoughtful conversations, inquisitive personalities, kind hearts, and quick wits, so I have spent my years teaching 5th and 6th grade. In my free time, I enjoy reading, baking, visiting the beach, and biking/hiking/exploring with my husband Jeff, sons Henry and Thomas, and our dog Kaia.
