I grew up in San Diego and began teaching there. After getting married, I moved to Davis, continued teaching in the Sacramento area, and received my Master’s in Education at UC Davis. I have been teaching for 17 years. This will be my twelfth year teaching third grade at Los Altos School District.

When I’m not at school, I’m spending time with my 5-year-old twins. I love to travel, learn new languages, and read. I lived in China and taught over 1,000 students English language skills. I learned a little Mandarin too! I also studied in Mexico, learning Spanish and volunteering in primary classrooms. I enjoy reading and talking about different stories in which both children and I share an interest.
