Hi everyone! My name is Katie Brenny. I am so excited to be joining Gardner as a third grade teacher for my first year teaching! I just finished my masters and credentialing program at Santa Clara University in June. Before that I attended San Jose State University as a Communication Studies major and Child Development minor. This past year I was a student teacher in the Oak Grove school district where I student taught in kindergarten and a 4/5 combo. I am originally from Morgan Hill, but just moved to Palo Alto. One of my favorite activities is swimming laps. I have been a competitive swimmer my entire life. When I am not swimming, I love to paint and craft!
