Having grown up between Egypt and the East Coast, I was always interested in learning more about the people and cultures around me which led me down a path towards the field of psychology. Since attending Drexel University for my undergraduate degree and completing my graduate program at Chapman University, I have worked in inpatient mental health hospitals, outpatient therapy clinics, as well as schools in the U.K., Philadelphia, Orange County, and now Los Altos. I moved to Los Altos after graduating in the height of the pandemic in 2020 which came with feelings of uncertainty, nerves, and hope for the future. I feel so blessed to have spent the entirety of my school psychologist career with LASD and I am looking forward to continuing to work with the inspiring students, warm families, and incredible staff at Gardner Bullis. Outside of work, I enjoy cooking and loosely sticking to baking recipes, being with my family, traveling to new and familiar places, and enjoying a pastry with a strong latte!
