Hi Everyone!

My name is Lauren Wong. I’m thrilled to be your child’s 2nd grade teacher and a Gardner Bullis Grizzlie! One of my favorite quotes is “Every child needs a champion” -Rita Pierson.

Inspired to be a champion for all students, I strive to create a classroom community that fosters diversity and social emotional learning. I always knew I wanted to be a teacher. One of my former teachers inspired me to become an educator that sees all students for who they are and build lifelong learners.

I completed my undergraduate degree in Education at the University of California Riverside and recently my Masters in Teaching from San Jose State University. I grew up in sunny Orange County, but I am excited to be a part of the community here in Los Altos. Outside of school I enjoy crafting, baking, spending time with family, friends, and my cats, and drinking boba!
