Hello GB community!

WoW!  The staff and I just experienced an amazing week thanks to Helene K., Gilda F., and the parents and students who supported and helped throughout the week.  We feel very special and loved by this incredible community.  From the decorated doors and campus to the flowers and special notes it all felt like paradise.  The breakfasts, lunches, and special snack deliveries were delicious and definitely kept us going all week!  From the bottom of our hearts, the Gardner Staff thanks you!

Kira T placed 1st!

I would like to proudly announce the 1st place winner of the Los Altos Historical Commission and Los Altos History Museum 35th Annual Margaret Thompson Historical Essay Contest as Gardner’s: Kira T!  This contest is for 3rd-6th graders district-wide and Kira is our very own 3rd grader!  We are so proud of her and will celebrate her Tuesday evening at the museum with her extremely proud family.  If you see her- be sure to give her a HIGH-5!

STATE TESTING

State testing has progressed excellently and the teachers and I are pleased with how the students have put their best effort and thoughtful mindset to the exam.  While a lot of our classes are done, we do have one more week of testing so I ask us all to continue respecting our testing school environment.

HAPPY MOTHER’s DAY

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the moms in our community.  Each of you play such a special role on our campus and GB students’ lives are touched daily.

To My Mother
For all the times you gently picked me up,
When I fell down,
For all the times you tied my shoes
And tucked me into bed,
Or needed something
But put me first instead.
For everything we shared,
The dreams, the laughter,
And the tears,
I love you with a “Special Love”
That deepens every year.
