Our school district is faced with important and imminent decisions regarding future facilities to house Bullis Charter School (BCS).  Below is a board meeting notice providing you with two opportunities to add your voice to the discussion.  If you are unable to attend either of the two upcoming board meetings, I invite you to email the Board at trustees@lasdschools.org with comments, questions or concerns.

The Los Altos School District invites you to attend the Board of Trustees’ January 14 meeting at the District Office at 7 pm.  We will discuss Bullis Charter School's 2019-20 Proposition 39 Facilities Request, which asked for exclusive use of Egan Junior High for the next school year.  An in-depth presentation will outline multiple options for a 2019-20 facilities offer, in addition to facilities options to address the charter school's projected growth over the next three school years.  The agenda and supporting information for this meeting will be available for review here by 5 pm on Friday, January 11.

The LASD Board of Trustees has also scheduled a special meeting on Wednesday, January 16 at 7 pm in the Covington Elementary School Multipurpose Room to garner public input regarding the 2019-20 facilities offer to BCS.  LASD must provide a preliminary facilities offer to the charter school by no later than February 1.  The agenda and supporting information for this meeting will be available for review here by 5 pm on Tuesday, January 15.
