The Town of Los Altos Hills is hosting its annual Earth Day Celebration on Sunday, April 17th from 1:00-4:00pm at Westwind Community Barn.  There will be exhibits by Los Altos Hills committees, local environmental organizations and school groups, a “Live Wild Cats” education presentation (at 1:30 pm and again at 3 pm) by Leopard’s Etc. and a presentation by the Bay Area Amphibian and Reptiles Society (at 2:30 pm).   Admission is free but bring cash or a check for a green shopping experience – Los Altos Hills hats, wine glasses, water bottles, lotion, bags, seeds, produce and much more will be on sale.  The Community Relations Committee will hold a free local wine tasting and the Youth Commission will be selling popcorn to raise money for its programs. Reduce your carbon footprint.  Walk, bike or carpool and bring a reusable water bottle.  No dogs allowed.  For additional information on the event or if you are interested in donating, becoming a vendor or volunteering, please contact Sarah Gualtieri at 650-947-2518,sgualtieri@losaltoshills.ca.gov.
