I would like to invite all students in grades K-6 to participate in the 2017 STEM Expo! While engaging in STEM projects, students will have the opportunity to design hands-on projects while exploring just how fun STEM can be! Gardner Bullis will be hosting their STEM Expo on Tuesday, March 21st, 2017 from 4:30pm - 6:30pm .

Feb. 18 WHO: The Los Altos Library WHAT: The Los Altos Library will host a special celebration in honor of the library’s new extended hours of operation: New hours as of Tuesday, January 3, 2017: · Monday – Thursday: 10 am – 9 pm · Friday – Sunday 10 am – 7 pm WHY: In October 2016, the North County Library Authority voted unanimously to fund an additional five hours each week in the library’s schedule. The new hours are reflective of the suggestions and wishes of over 500 Los Altos Library users who completed a SCCLD survey last spring. Their responses provided valuable input into various library offerings, including additional hours of operation should funds become available.

The following guidelines are indications that you should keep him/her home. In this way, you are helping to control the spread of colds, flu, and other contagious illnesses. Keep your child at home when he/she has any of the following symptoms:
You need to keep your child home until he/she has been symptom free without medication for 24 hours. Also, NOTIFY THE OFFICE IMMEDIATELY if your child is exposed to or contracts chicken pox, mumps or measles or whooping cough (pertussis).
