Hello Gardner Families and Happy Lunar New Year! New Family Social If you are new to our Gardner Community, please join us on February 6th at 2:30 in the multi-room for a New Family Social. There will be brief activities that will help us get to know each other as well as time to socialize. We are looking forward to seeing your there! Spirit Wear Day Friday, January 3rd is PJ DAY and students are welcome to wear warm and appropriate pajamas to school! Thank you student council for your fun spirit wear ideas! Remember to show your school spirit every Friday by wearing Gardner gear or Gardner colors. Ability Awareness Week: 3/22, 3/23, 3/24 I am very excited to tell you that Ability Awareness Week is coming to Gardner Bullis. This is a fun-filled and inspiring program designed and tailored to Gardner Bullis’ school culture to build empathy, understanding and respect for kids with challenges. I welcome Annie from Santa Clara County DoE who will be with us every step of the way. She briefly introduced the program concept at last week’s PTA meeting and will return during February’s Coffee with the Principal to go over it in detail with our parent community. While this program is designed for students to experience, it is the parents that help run the program. Please join us at one of the Coffee’s for more information and to learn how to sign up to be a volunteer. It will be an experience that will warm the heart and bring our Gardner community together.
Tardies We have noticed an increase in tardies lately. It is important that students get to school on time and are ready for instruction by 8:30 am. Please make every effort to be at school on time. Have a wonderful week, Nadia Oskolkoff, Principal |
