Medication Pickup Medications will be available for pick up from June 8th 2017 (last day of school) until June 14th 2017. We cannot store medications over the summer. If you are leaving before school ends, please pick up medications early. An adult must pick up the medication. Let us know if you have any questions. Thank you for all that you do! HEALTH SERVICES STAFF Science Olympiad Volunteers Needed How can you help? We are in need of parent volunteers to help facilitate the events! Volunteers are needed on May 25th from 8:00am – 12:00pm. Each volunteer will sign up for one specific event and stay there the whole morning. There will be a catered lunch for all volunteers from 12:00 – 12:45.

In order to reduce and protect our students and staff; we are asking that you keep your children home 48 HOURS after symptoms. IF your student does not feel well in the morning; please keep them home. We will not be accepting late students that have called in sick in the morning. Please help us to cut down on the spread of this nasty virus! Thank you, Gardner Staff Pertussis Booster for Students in grade 6 Students currently in 6th grade must have proof of a Tdap or Dtap (Pertussis or Whooping Cough) booster given after their 7th birthday (after 10th birthday is recommended) in order to begin 7th grade in August of 2017. Please provide a copy of your child’s immunization record to your school office as soon as possible! Coding & Music…a perfect combination We hope you enjoyed the classical, folk songs, popular music, and film favorites coming from our 4th, 5th and 6th grade LASD Spring Music Concerts in addition to being wowed by the projects created by our 6th grade CSTEM students from all seven elementary schools at the CSTEM Expo. Special thanks to our 2,205 donors so far this school year who have made these enriching educational experiences possible! LACI (formerly known as Passerelle) will provide a brief description of the First Street Green and will listen to feedback from us on what we think. LACI is proposing a park/plaza that will include an outdoor stage, children's play area, seating areas, a cafe and other amenities. This plaza could be used for our Farmer's Market, staging area for our beloved parades, performance area for our kids, outdoor movies, and other community events.
